Do I run clients facebook ads from my own business manager?

If you are running an advertising campaign for a client and are wondering whose account you should be using - then this article is for you!

When starting you don't want to setup a client ad account in your business manager. What we recommend doing is to have them set up their own business manager, then give your business manager access as an administrator.

At that point you can take over and create an ad account in their new business manager.

Two reasons for doing it this way...

1) Once a business manager claims an ad account it can never be removed (if you part ways with the client) and

2) There is a hidden "relevancy" score attached to your business manager. If your client was to have their ad account disapproved inside of your biz manager it's possible it could affect your other ad accounts in terms of CPM cost and review time.
